NZBusiness July 2015 feature - Reno your business (part 1)
The July 2015 issue of NZBusiness magazine features Attaché Software’s New Zealand Client Engagement Manager Brent Irvine in part one of a two-part article series titled, Reno your business.
A Grant Thornton survey reveals that 70 percent of all businesses with five or more employees in New Zealand will go on the market for sale over the next ten years.
But 40% of businesses on the market for sale are not sale-ready.
“Unfortunately many of those business owners are under the naïve belief that their business is in a fit state for sale,” says Irvine.
To avoid being part of that statistic, the article series highlights the steps you may need to take to move your business to the next level.
Part one looks at the first two points of Brent’s six-point business improvement plan: debtor and stock management tactics that can help you unlock as much as 12 percent of your cash flow.
Part two will look at the last four business improvement points: sales, expenses, payroll and fraud.
