Single Touch Payroll (STP) is a major change to the way all medium and large employers report payroll information to the ATO. On or before 1 July 2018 these businesses will need to send this information electronically from their payroll solution directly to the ATO at the same time as they pay their employees.
Many smaller businesses will also opt in for the benefits STP provides.
