The Prophet ODBC Driver opens up a whole new Window of opportunity for accessing your Prophet accounting data in other Windows applications.

ODBC stands for Open Database Connectivity, an international standard for accessing stored data.

Using data generated from your software, you can create a new report or database. You can do it using tools, such as your word processing, spreadsheet or database programs, with which you are already familiar. It saves time in re-keying data and allows you to present it in a format which everyone can access.

You can use spreadsheets to assist in management reporting and use mail merges to keep your customers informed of your latest product releases. For example, you can open your Prophet General Ledger data from inside MS Excel for further analysis, view data from multiple companies in the one spreadsheet, and much more.
