The
Inventory Control module provides you with a complete stock
management system, and includes facilities to account for non-reducing,
but chargeable items and services such as labour, freight and
insurance. Analysis is available of monthly and yearly sales,
gross margins, stock valuations (by standard, average and latest
cost) and stock quantities (held or on order). Stock may be "committed" or
allocated to the Order Entry module.

Module integration
The Inventory Control module is typically used in conjunction with the Order
Entry/Invoicing and Accounts Receivable modules,
or can be used on its own to maintain in-house stock levels. Integration to the General
Ledger transfers closing stock figures to the trading account and stock on
hand figures to the balance sheet. On-order figures can be generated by the Purchase
Ordering module. The Special Pricing module
can refer to the details of individual stock items to select the correct pricing
criteria.
