Key features

Attache Products & Services, used in conjunction with Attaché Customers and the Order Entry/Invoicing and Customer Special Pricing options, forms a billing system that includes unlimited pricing flexibility and comprehensive debtor management.

Similarly, Attaché Products and Services used with Attaché Suppliers, Purchasing and General Ledger, forms a complete purchasing management system.

Track your stock at an unlimited number of locations with the Multi-Location Stock option.

Time-saving global price changes
Save time and effort by applying price changes across ranges — by product/service, location, group or supplier. You can choose to increase or decrease prices by an amount or a percentage, based on the current cost, last cost, or any of the six selling prices. You can also input price file updates for your suppliers by using the Keystrike File Import productivity tool.

Alternative products
Alternatives are a must for businesses that deal with large or complex product lines such as spare parts or components. Suggesting alternatives is a great way to turn an enquiry into a sale and take the pressure off the amount of stock you need to carry.

Bin locations
The ability to allocate the bin location of products enables more accurate stocktakes and faster picking of goods for orders. For example, picking slips created in Order Entry/Invoicing can be printed in the bin location order based on customer, order, delivery date, and run number.

Multiple barcodes
Attaché Products & Services lets you associate a virtually unlimited number of barcodes with each product or service. This is extremely useful when a single item has different barcodes when sourced from different suppliers. You can then scan or enter any of the barcodes whenever the software asks for a product or service code. Plus global numbering system.

Multiple stocktakes
Monitor your stock more accurately and with less disruption by carrying out smaller stocktakes more often. Attaché Products & Services lets you run dozens of simultaneous stocktakes (for example, on a range of bin locations, by product group, etc.), using Palm devices, if you wish, to scan barcodes and enter quantities. You can even continue billing whilst stocktake results are entered.

Automated re-ordering
The automated re-ordering feature is both a great time-saver and insurance against running out of essential products. Simply define your minimum and maximum re-order quantities for a given product and your system will automatically create requisitions. Once approved, purchase orders can then be raised without further manual input. (Requires the Purchasing option.)

Purchase conversions
With Attaché Products & Services you can purchase in one quantity but hold stock in another. For example, you can purchase in dozens but sell in units.

Superseded and inactive products
Like the Alternatives function, you can set up replacements for superseded products. When the stock of a superseded product is insufficient to fill an order, the replacement product is used instead. You can also make a product inactive to prevent it from being bought or sold but retain historical data for sales analysis.

Service items
For service businesses Attaché Products & Services simplifies administration, with features such as standard descriptions that eliminate re-keying. Service items are used where quantities are not held (for example, types of labour, consulting fees, etc.). Tax collection is then automated for these services and sales analysis is available. Additional descriptions can be recorded using comment lines as desired.

Extensive reporting
A wide range of reports is available, plus you can produce customised reports using the Attaché ODBC productivity tool. Reports can be printed, displayed on screen, or output as a file.
