Electronic document savings calculator

 

This calculator assumes 60% of your documents are faxed or emailed by the Attaché 7 Alex electronic document delivery service. This cost has been allowed for in the net savings.

It also assumes 100% of your documents are filed electronically and accessed using Attaché 7 Drill Down, ExpressLink and Archive features. Note that Australia and New Zealand tax offices no longer require paper records if you meet their electronic recording requirements.

Standard costs used are:

  • $3.00 to manually dispatch a document inc. staff time, stationery, printing, post.

  • $1.00 to file a document inc. staff time, printing.

  • Staff cost is based on a modest $30,000 pa plus 12% on costs inc. super.

Standard times used are:

  • 6 minutes to print, fold, stuff and post a document.

  • 3 minutes to print & file a document.

Paper/GHG formulae are supplied by Carbon Planet Australia.

Attaché 7 cost depends on number of users.

These assumptions can be varied using a spreadsheet available from your Attaché 7 Specialist.

Note: This is only a guide. You must judge for yourself the savings in your business, including potentially faster debtor payments, better customer service from quicker handling of account queries, greater document security, and better use of the time saved.
